with a one-hundred-day cycle of religious pageants, gladiatorial games, and

spectacles.

(A) which was officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater, began in A.D. 69,

选项分析：

【错误】 句子结构：“began”和“was completed”同为“Construction of the Roman

Coliseum”，但一个主谓结构中的两个谓语动词之间不能没有“and”、“or”、“but”之类的连接词连接。

【错误】 句子结构：“it”替换“Construction of the Roman Coliseum”成为“was
