As the more factories are set up, the more waste will be produced, which

exactly does harm to the earth, such as plastic and fossil fuels.

教师修改后如下

As more factories are set up, more waste such as plastic will be produced,

which does harm to the earth.

☆ 我们都知道，例证都是在细化前序信息，那么原句中such as plastic and fossil

fuels的位置就很尴尬，它更靠近earth就暗指plastic and fossil

fuels所细化的对象是earth了，明显不合理，因此需要提前到waste一词之后，靠近它所细化的对象;

☆ 其次，and前后的两个词plastic“塑料”和fossil fuels“化石能源”是无法并列的，fossil

fuels亦不是对waste的例证，所以删除;

☆ 识别句中的the more… the more… 结构，它本身含有“随着”的含义，不需要as引出;

☆ exactly的用法：

1. 用在数量、位置前强调“恰好”：exactly ten metres in height

2. 作为回答“正是如此”：Exactly.
