I’d like to talk about a shopping mall in my hometown, which is only 10

minutes drive from my home, so I always go there during weekends.

It’s a 10-floor building with various facilities, so it’s the most popular

hangout for people of all age groups in that area.

The architecture of the mall looks pretty modern, I mean, the exterior design

of the building is unique, it’s built with glass walls instead of bricks, which

basically sets the main tone of the building. When it’s getting dark, the whole

building looks like a piece of art from a distance, you know, full of lights

which illuminate the whole area.

Like I said, the mall is well equipped, you could find practically anything

you need there, no matter it’s entertainment or clothes and stuff.

My favorite part of the mall is the video arcade on the fourth floor, where I

spend most of my spare time. My mom said it’s a waste of time, but I could

really get a buzz out it, I mean, it gives me a chance to experience something

different. For example, when I’m playing gunfight using the VR technology, I

feel like I’m in a movie, acting as a policeman or something like that, it’s so

real and thrilling, which is so much fun.

如果考咱们tall building，那么下面的water park提一嘴就行了，但是如果单考a popular place where people

like to go swimming，那么除了开头要扣题，还要删减一些上面跟swimming没用的描述，更需要多引申一下游泳方面的内容：

And another thing I have to mention about this building is the water park on

the top floor, which has made it a magnet for the locals, especially for kids

and young adults. It has an Olympic-size swimming pool, so you see, it’s pretty

professional. And the pool offers personal trainer service for customers at a

reasonable price. The lifeguards are super responsible, so you don’t have to

worry about your safety. And the temperature of the water is always proper, I’ve

never heard about any complaints saying that the water is too cold. Plus, they

have an advanced filter system to make sure the water is always clean and safe.

I heard some people would get allergy or a rash after swimming in other pools,

but that kind of thing never happened there.

Beside the pool, there are a variety of entertainment/recreation facilities,

like water jet, floating balls and all types of slides in different heights and

shapes. It’s like a heaven for youngsters. When summer vacation comes, the

swimming pool is always lousy with schoolchildren.

Oh, and I meant to say earlier, from the swimming pool, we could have a

bird’s eye view of the city, so that’s one of the selling points, even if you

don’t know how to swim, you could also have a good time there.
