思路分析：

一则好的新闻：

新闻内容：一则客观的新闻，关于一个高中生因为口吃，受到欺凌。

何时何地得知：两年前，在纽约时报的网站上读到。

如何得知：当时自己是一名新闻专业的学生，为完成老师布置的presentation作业，上网查新闻时得知。

为什么认为是好新闻：因为这则新闻没有片面性地将视角聚焦于口吃男孩身上，而是从公平的角度，采访了施暴者和受害者，从不同的角度去看待这个故事。因此从新闻学角度来看，这是一则不错的新闻。

Sample answer：

I once read a piece of good news on the website of the New York Times. It was

two years ago, I was still a journalism (新闻学)student and one of my tutors(导师)

assigned me to do a presentation for my news-gathering course. The time limit

was five minutes and it was supposed to be a critique(批判), i.e., stating clearly

what was good and bad about the story.

So I started preparing for my assignment(人物). I was skimming(浏览)through pages

and clicking around when this article caught my eye. Basically, it was about a

high school student who got bullied because he stuttered. The news story was a

good one because it wasn’t what I expected it to be — a one-sided story that

went on about the poor boy.

This piece was actually rather fair and balanced. It tried to show the

readers what had happened to the stutterer( 口吃者)and they gave the alleged(

所谓的)bullies( 恶霸)a chance to give their side of the story. From the journalistic

perspective(观点), it was a neat one.
