何谓听力考点词

听力考点词是在听力理解的每一道题目中，命题者所设计的最重要的原文与题目 中重叠使用的词语。当然，这里的重叠包括原词重现，同义替换，反义词驳斥等现象;根据表述内容，也可以解读为原词重现(1级同转)，句式类重现(2级同转)，抽象概念具体表述(3级同转)和推测表述重现(4级同转)等。在听力过程中，如果考生可以识别及记录原文考点词的表述含义，即可轻松在选 项中找到明确答案，反之，则题目应答无法完成。

下面举例说明听力考点词的重要和强大

2009年8月22日，ETS发布了TOEFL Practice Online(TPO)第23套练习。可以看到，在Conversation 1中第5题的命题考点与2006年发布的TPO 4中Lecture 4第5题的考点词设计一致，对比如下:

考点词:funding=support

fund 一词的含义是;投资;资助;，同义表达是;suppor(t支持;扶持);。假设考生熟悉这个同义转述，那么这两道题就可以轻松得到解答。在ETS后续发布的真题中，相同的考.另外，在托福lecture对考点词也有提及。

这话中，要知道的关键词是nanotechnology。但大多考生是知道后面的尾词某种科技的意思，于是lecture里面用另一个相关的词代替关键词的定义：the multi-displinary science。这个又是什么呢?我们知道of后面就是对于这个概念的分析：manipulating or controlling extremely small units of matter on the scale of molecules or even atoms (在原子或分子量级上操控小单位物质)。因此我们可以从括号里得知这个nanotechnology是什么意思，从而避免关键词不知道导致文章出错。另外要强调的是or和and都表示两者意思相近，所以括号里的manipulating等于or后面的意思。
