The TOEFL Speaking section actually tests more than just your English speaking skills. It tests your ability to read, listen to and understand recordings by native English speakers, pronounce words correctly, use appropriate grammar, and manage your time wisely. This section also tests exam-taking strategies, such as your ability to remain focused and take brief notes.
托福口语不但测试考生的口语技巧，更加测试考生阅读、听力理解、发音、语法和合理安排时间的能力。这一部分考试也测试考生的考试技巧，例如在考试中集中注意力和记笔记的能力。
TOEFL Speaking Questions 托福口语问题
There are two categories of questions in the Speaking Section: 托福考口语包括以下两种题型： 1、Independent (Tasks 1 & 2) 独立题（第一和第二题） 2、Integrated (Tasks 3 – 6)综合题（第三至第六题）
Independent Tasks 1 & 2:独立题第一和第二题
You'll be asked a general question about your life or your opinion on a topic. 考生将被问及一个关于个人生活的问题或是对某个话题阐述自己的观点。
You'll have a short period of time to take notes and gather your thoughts. 考生将会有短暂的时间记笔记和组织思路。
Tip: Use your 30 seconds of prep time to identify key information. Don't try to include every single detail in your response! You'll run out of time.
回答技巧：你要使用30秒的准备时间来确定关键信息。回答时，不要尝试涵盖所有细节，否则你会不够时间！
Integrated Tasks 5 & 6:综合题第五和第六题 You'll listen to a recording, but this time there will be no accompanying text for you to read. 考生将会听到一段录音，但没有可供阅读的文章。
Task 5: You'll listen to a recording by a student. 第五题：考生将听到一名学生的录音。
Task 6: You'll listen to a lecture by a professor. 第六题：考生将听到一位教授的讲座录音。
You'll be given 20 seconds to prepare your response. 考生将有20秒准备回答。
You'll be given 60 seconds to answer a question about the recording. 考生将有60秒回答一个关于录音的问题。
Tip: The question in Task 5 is difficult to answer in only 60 seconds. Use an outline to structure your response: 10-15 seconds: Explain the student's problem. 20-30 seconds: Provide two solutions to the problem (these solutions will be suggested in the recording). 15-10 seconds: Explain which solution you prefer and why.
